Our organic chemistry notepad has a hexagon grid pattern as most organic chemistry molecules include benzenes which have 6 sides. So then how on earth can you draw cyclopentane (or pyrrole or Cyclopentadiene etc...) which also comes up frequently, on our notepads?
Here's how! Use the sides on the hexagon and then draw two diagonal lines pointing together, just like the picture below.
Our notepad patterns should never restrict your notes, so get creative on making clear and organised notes for your exam prep! Also, I absolutely love it when people send me pictures of their notes, so if you want me to include your proud work on any of my social medias or website, lmk! :D
